Last week, we talked about the Archive Protocol aka the Community History Service. This week we’ll share an awesome feature that’s built on top of it, the Discord Import tool! 📥
We know that most of you use Discord right now for your web3 and NFT communities, so we built a tool that makes it easy to import all the categories, channels, and messages from a Discord server directly into a Status Community.
To do this, first, you export your Discord data. Then when you create your new community in Status, you select the 'Import existing Discord community' option. A simple wizard will guide you through the process of generating your new Status Community and importing all the messages (including all images!) from your old Discord server.
Whenever a new member joins your Status Community, they will be able to access and search all of the historical messages you imported from Discord. This is all made possible by the Archive Protocol!
It’s that simple!
