We’re still working on QR decoding for our new @Keycard_ hardware wallet, and all we think about is RAM 🤓
Some of the QRs we want to decode are animated (these are called “dynamic QR codes”), and we need to show the QR we’re trying to scan on the screen, and at the same time try to detect and decode it.
To ensure good performance we decided to do double buffering. While one frame is processed, another one is acquired. This means we need two frames in RAM and as a result, we're going to have to work even harder to optimise our RAM usage!
